The 2020 vintage began with a mild and dry winter leading to an early budding. The beginning of spring was marked by three successive white frosts which affected the future harvest. The vines then took full advantage of the generous rains up until a very hot summer arrived. The drought conditions put a lot of stress on the vines putting further pressure future yields. Fortunately, the rains at the start of the harvest allowed the vines to regain their balance and the grapes to reach their full maturity.

Selection Un Vin Presque Parfait
Attractively perfumed, with some herbaceousness, the texture fresh as well as fat.
Eye: white gold with sparkling reflections. Nose: generous and lively, delicately vegetal, lime blossom, honey, hyacinth, white fruits. Palate: frank attack, nice fat with a retro-olfaction of encaustic, beeswax, pear. Conclusion: Very nice balance and power, the honeyed note adds to the interest. 3 stars – A great success!

The color is pale yellow with beautiful golden reflections. The nose is on aromas of lemon and iris, highlighted by a hint of saffron. The palate is frank, clean, very chiseled, with a nice gluttony.
