LE GRAND CROS

L'Esprit de Provence Red

13,00

An intense ruby and slightly garnet red. The nose is intense and complex combining notes of dark fruit, green olive, earth and stewed blackberry. The mouth is first round and supple. Sweet spicy aromas accompany the integrated and quality tannins very harmoniously. Dark fruit tones and hints of white pepper and dark berries compliment the delightful body. Both generous and refined. Decant before enjoying.

The 2021 vintage had a mild and pleasant winter, an early spring followed by a hot and very dry summer, which caused a blockage in the physiology of the vine. It therefore took patience to wait for the grapes to fully ripen. Small yields but strong potential for the harvest.
Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon.
Prime rib in a salt crust, braised lamb, mushroom-based dishes, tomato stew.

L’Esprit de Provence Red is currently only available for delivery in France and United Kingdom, but we have a strong network of retailers all around the world.

ESPRIT DE PROVENCE

A fine vintage in the southern vineyards.

This wine is complete, combining the seduction of Syrah with the structure of Cabernet Sauvignon.

Guide Hachette
2022

Eye: intense black cherry. Nose: concentrated, graphite, undergrowth, blackcurrant, ripe red fruits, notes of pepper, menthol note, finesse. Palate: frank attack, amplitude and power with a nice plot of tight and solid tannins. Conclusion: a wine of high potential, built around Cabernet Sauvignon and which must absolutely wait; For the game. A very good success.

2012/2013

Darkly fragrant. Dry and spicy, fresh dry thyme blowing through toasty black fruit. A touch of vanilla. Good balance and good polish on those tannins.

A fine vintage in the southern vineyards, 2007 still displays vigor and fullness on the palate of very good intensity. This wine is complete, combining the seduction of Syrah with the structure of Cabernet Sauvignon. To drink over two or three years.
