LE GRAND CROS

L'Esprit de Provence White

13,00

A bright light yellow with beautiful shades of green. The delicate nose is complex with floral notes of verbena and white-fleshed fruit (pear). We find this aromatic complexity in the mouth. The fresh fruit is persistent and elegant. Lovely balance.

The 2020 vintage began with a mild and dry winter leading to an early budding. The beginning of spring was marked by three successive white frosts which affected the future harvest. The vines then took full advantage of the generous rains up until a very hot summer arrived. The drought conditions put a lot of stress on the vines putting further pressure future yields. Fortunately, the rains at the start of the harvest allowed the vines to regain their balance and the grapes to reach their full maturity.
Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Rolle.
Fish carpaccio, salads, vegetarian dishes, grilled fish and white meat.

L’Esprit de Provence White is currently only available for delivery in France and United Kingdom, but we have a strong network of retailers all around the world.

ESPRIT DE PROVENCE

Authenticity and a lot of expression in this remarkable white wine.

The Rolle and Vermentino have produced a warm, herbal, southern sun-touched wine. To hear the cicadas.

Lightly daffodil and grapefruit scented, with a pencil-thin streak of cordite on the nose and palate. Brisk acidity, green apple dipped in lemon juice, borage leaf and salt. You can feel the sea wind whipping your hair when you drink this.

Authenticity and a lot of expression in this remarkable white wine. Accents of garrigue (sage, flowering broom, menthol and eucalyptus) explode on aeration, while the palate, of great elegance, silky and fine, develops around the yellow fruits (mirabelle, fruit of the Passion). To hear the cicadas.
