CLIMATE

The 2020 vintage began with a mild and dry winter leading to an early budding. The beginning of spring was marked by three successive white frosts which affected the future harvest. The vines then took full advantage of the generous rains up until a very hot summer arrived. The drought conditions put a lot of stress on the vines putting further pressure future yields. Fortunately, the rains at the start of the harvest allowed the vines to regain their balance and the grapes to reach their full maturity.

GRAPE VARIETIES

45% grenache, 33% cinsault, 8.5 % syrah, 4.5% mourvedre, 4.5% cabernet, 4% rolle, 0.5% semillon.

MEAL SUGGESTION

Grilled fish and chicken, salads, fish soup, crab roll, gazpacho.

Beautifully floral and feminine with some prominent exotic notes. Crisp, delicious and thirst quenching, there are notes of strawberry and mango on the nose, along with herbaceous notes to taste.

Fragrant with aromas of freshly crushed berries and exotic fruits, a hint of mango lends a touch of richness to the fresh round palate, with some herbal notes in the mix and a creamy elegance with plenty of freshness on the finish. Brilliant with Provençal staples such as bouillabaisse.

Very pale copper colour, but plenty of aroma concentration with a herby note plus fresh, juicy redcurrant fruits. Really nicely balanced between viscous texture, medium body and soft acidity. Slightly confected fruit, but the finish is dry and savoury and appetising. Lovely!
